Trent Haycock is an Associate Attorney at Derek L. Hall, P.C., where he represents clients in personal injury and civil litigation matters throughout Mississippi. His practice focuses on automobile wrecks, premises liability claims, insurance disputes, and other negligence cases, and he is involved in all stages of litigation from case evaluation through settlement and trial preparation.
Mr. Haycock has handled hundreds of personal injury cases and has helped recover more than $5,000,000 in settlements for his clients during his two years of practice. He has represented individuals in claims against private parties, commercial businesses, insurance companies, and national corporations, including defendants such as Walmart and McDonald’s. His background in finance and accounting provides him with a strong understanding of damages, insurance issues, and case valuation.
Before becoming an attorney, Mr. Haycock spent several years working in finance and accounting in Bakersfield, California, while earning his Bachelor of Arts in Economics from California State University, Bakersfield, and his Master of Business Administration from California State University, Fresno. He later attended Mississippi College School of Law, where he graduated a semester early, finished in the top half of his class, and received the American Jurisprudence Award in Advanced Torts.
Mr. Haycock is licensed to practice law in Mississippi and represents clients in courts throughout the state. He is also a member of the Phoenix Club of Jackson, where he participates in charitable work supporting the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Mississippi.
Outside the practice of law, he enjoys spending time with his wife and children, hunting, fishing, scuba diving, traveling, and following sports.
