You should look for competence. You should look for a law firm or an attorney that has been there. You should look for a law firm and an attorney that will communicate with you and explain to you all of the elements of your case. I’d say the overriding factor is sit down and talk with the attorney and make sure you trust them. If you’re going to question what your attorney does, that means to me that you’ve automatically picked the wrong lawyer or law firm. Make sure that they’re competent, that they can fund your case, and that you can trust the information that you get from them.
