Should I release my medical records to another driver’s insurance adjuster after a Mississippi motorcycle accident?

In my law firm, we’re very particular about what we release to insurance adjusters. Oftentimes, the insurance companies are going to want all of your medical records. Mississippi is quite frankly don’t allow for that. What we will do, is we will release those records that we are claiming the injury for, and only those. They’re not entitled to know whether you had a cold in 2012. They’re entitled to know what your condition was before the incident or the accident, and what your condition is post-accident. You do that with what you are claiming for. Not with your whole set of medical records.
