Does a property owner have a duty to provide security guards?

Property owners in Mississippi do not have an absolute duty to provide security guards. What property owners have a duty to do is to maintain their property in a reasonably safe condition and aware of those conditions that they knew or know are unsafe.

Our law firm analyzes these kind of cases to determine if you’re injured by someone else on another property owner’s property, should they have employed a security guard based on a reasonable standard. While the answer is not an absolute, often times, you’ll find that there is a case to be made that the injury could’ve been prevented and therefore would entitle you to recovery.
